Everyone has a silence remover. Nobody had these, so I wrote them for my own edits and left them in.

01 Stream highlights Reads a whole VOD and works out which stretches are a video someone would actually finish. It looks for the stretches that hold a subject, not the loudest moments. Each becomes its own sequence, dead air already gone. 02 Short clips Ranks the moments that stand up cold with no setup, then builds the 9:16 from the one you pick. The hard part of a short was never the crop. 03 Clip That Every time you shouted “clip that” mid-stream, it cuts it out of your own recording. Full quality, your in and out points, not a platform’s.

Nothing uploads

Four hours is limited by your computer, not your Wi-Fi. Works the same on a plane as at a desk. Tools that ship footage to a server bill you twice: once in minutes, once in money.

Nothing is baked

Every change is an ordinary Premiere edit, graphic or keyframe. Trim a join, retype a caption, bin a zoom, undo the lot. It all keeps working with Um Out uninstalled.

Will Um Out edit without my approval?

Review is the default. Silence and filler analysis returns proposed changes first. A timeline changes without review only when you explicitly turn on Um Bot’s Auto-apply setting for one requested action.

Does my footage leave my computer?

Core cleanup and supported transcription run locally. When an AI action needs a provider, Um Out shows the minimized context that will leave the device and asks first. Media files and local paths stay on your computer.

What if a proposed cut is wrong?

Untick it before applying the pass. Afterwards, the result is still an ordinary Premiere edit you can trim or undo. Keep a project backup for the same reason you would before any large edit.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Local is $49 once. Plus is optional at $7 per month or $70 per year when you want hosted AI. The 7-day trial needs no card.
