Pick a built-in style or set the text, spoken-word highlight, outline, panel, size and screen position yourself. A preview shows the result before the caption pass runs, so you are not rendering a full video to find out the outline is too thin.

Um Out renders the reviewed words into transparent visual assets and places them as timed clips on their own track. That keeps the visible pixels the same across Premiere installations instead of depending on an installed text template that a collaborator may not have.

Timing comes from the same transcript the other tools use, so each caption appears with the words it contains rather than on a fixed cadence, and word-by-word highlighting lines up with the delivery.

Run captions last, after silence and filler cleanup. Captions written against the uncut audio describe words that are no longer there, and fixing that by hand is the single most common self-inflicted caption job.
